NUBEMUNDO is a photographic style born from two projects: “TWINCHILDHOOD” which explores a world where lost loved ones are replaced by duplicates to cope with grief, and “TRANQUILIDAD EN EL HOGAR”, a reflection on peace and memory through my mother’s family archives.
In NUBEMUNDO, duplicates symbolize different emotional states, and every element in a photograph is purposefully chosen to convey a message. While most works are pre-planned, I also challenge myself to create NUBEMUNDO realities from photos not shot with that purpose in mind.

“cHAmO”
emerged from revisiting my father’s family photos in Puerto Rico, continuing my exploration of familiar history, identity, and multiple selves within an imagined world. “chamo” is what I grew up hearing my father call my grandmother.
